Spinal Health Week
May 2025 Spinal Health Week and Fibromyalgia Awareness.

Spinal Health Week
26th -1st June 2025
Spinal Health Week is the Australian Chiropractic Association’s flagship initiative. For almost 30 years, ACA’s annual community health initiatives have shone a light on the spinal health issues that affects millions of Australians.
In 2025, the campaign is targeting Tension Neck Syndrome. Commonly known as ‘tech neck’ or ‘text neck’, the condition is a global health concern caused by poor posture and the prolonged or incorrect use of digital devices, including smartphones, tablets and computers.
Chiropractic care can be a very effective way to treat muscular tension in the neck and shoulders. Therapy normally consists of joint mobilization techniques, as well as soft tissue therapies to address any muscle tension or ligament damage. Targeted stretches and exercises will be prescribed to help restore normal biomechanics and muscle function.
Text neck is a condition that responds extremely well to Chiropractic treatment. If you would like an appointment with one of our Chiropractors, please call on 9791 1053.

Fibromyalgia is a complex chronic condition characterised by widespread pain and other symptoms like fatigue, sleep disturbances, and cognitive difficulties.
Fibromyalgia causes pain in bones and muscles. The pain associated with fibromyalgia tends to fluctuate. Sufferers may experience worsening symptoms from time to time. These are called flare-ups. A flare-up can last anywhere from a few days to weeks.
Chiropractic care can be very effective in helping to ease the muscle and joint pain associated with Fibromyalgia. Gentle soft tissue therapies such as massage, stretching and pressure point therapy to help relieve symptoms.

1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)
2 tbsp honey
1 lime zested and juiced
